BIO: Grant Hiura is a 24 year old with severe hemophilia A whose passion for jazz piano developed from his training as a classical pianist. What started as just a “safe activity” in first grade soon turned into a genuine passion to perform and study music. Nate and Grant attended high school together in San Francisco, where they played in several jazz combos with such inspired names as “Jazz vs. Predator,” and they continue to play music together today in New York City.
