lyrics

Here it comes, I've felt it before.
It's a bleed I can't ignore.
Where's my factor, I start to roar.
Here I go again, infusing once more.

Here's the story of a hemophiliac,
who got lots of bleeds and that's a fact.
He went outside to meet his friends.
They wanted to play football.
But what about Dennis?
Dennis wanted to play, not look like a wimp.
But he knew if he did he could end up with a limp.
He made his decision to play the game.
And hoped very much the game would be tame.

Here it comes, I've felt it before.
It's a bleed I can't ignore.
Where's my factor, I start to roar.
Here I go again, infusing once more.

It took ten minutes but Dennis got hit.
He crumpled to the ground and that was it.
His knee blew up just like a balloon.
After the factor, off to the hospital room.
Dennis was in an extreme amount of pain.
When he arrived they gave him morphine.
His mother stayed with him throughout the night.
You should have seen that knee it was quite a sight.

Here it comes, I've felt it before.
It's a bleed I can't ignore.
Where's my factor I start to roar.
Here I go again, infusing once more.

It was a few weeks before Dennis was up again.
He so longed to be with his friends.
Some came by to see how he was and all.
Dennis was ashamed, shouldn't have played football.
So next time it came up he said, "No way."
Tackle football just isn't my game.
I don't wanna get hurt just the same.
'Cause having bleeds is really lame.

Here it comes, I've felt it before.
It's a bleed I can't ignore.
Where's my factor, I start to roar.
Here I go again, infusing once more.

Now today, Dennis has several target joints.
One is his knee, so what's the point?
Roughhousing is fun when your are young.
But when you're older don't you want to run?
Hemophiliacs have to take care of themselves.
Make good choices so you can be well.
Now Dennis is older and walks with a limp.
Remember, he didn't wanna be a wimp.
He learned slowly like many of us do.
His body paid for it and now the story's through.
